Uncapping mods may solve Physics issues, but PapyrusVM still grants script time per frame. With 144hz and 144fps game would be left very little time to execute scripts. That does not leave a lot of time for game functions. Higher values will cut down the frame time in progressive manner, so that it is only 8.35ms in 120fps. Frame time is naturally tied to FPS and given value is for 60fps. "With vanilla settings, game grants 1.2ms per 16.7ms frame for any scripts to complete itself. There is also this, as Ilja posted in another discussion: So, if you exceeded 60 FPS, you would either have to roll back to a save made before you uncapped the FPS, or start a new game.
